Accommodation rates and hotel details

Special conference rates have been arranged at a select number of hotels for participants to the aes25 conference. It is highly recommended to book early to ensure you secure these rates while available.
Please note that that the preferred hotel rates are only valid till 13 August 2025. Any further bookings after this date will depend on availability and the best rate the hotel can offer at the time of the request.
The rates indicated below are valid from Sunday 14 September through to Friday 19 September inclusive. Should you require accommodation outside of the specified dates then these will be on request.
Credit card details must be provided with your booking. These details will be forwarded directly to the hotel and will guarantee your booking.
Please note that each hotel payment conditions is noted in the description listed below as some may require a deposit of one nights value on booking and full payment on check-in where others will require payment in full at 30 days/21 days prior to the conference; others may just require payment on check in.
Important: If you provide credit card details that are NOT in the name of the booking then a Third-Party Authorisation Form must be completed to authorise that this card may be used for payment. Kerrie can assist with this form on request.
Each hotel also has their own cancellation conditions, please note these details noted in each hotel description below.
A receipt will be provided by the hotel on checkout.
A separate booking form is required for each room booked (unless it is a group booking then you may provide these details directly to Kerrie by email kerrie@destinationconference.com.au.
If you are sharing a room, then please note the name of this person on the booking form for the hotel’s information.

Crowne Plaza Canberra

Crowne Plaza Canberra is set in a tranquil park setting in the heart of the city. With only a 2-minute walk to the National Convention Centre and a short stroll to the City’s shopping district it offers a great location for conference delegates. The hotel offers the atrium lounge for coffee with breakfast and dinner available in the Red Salt restaurant; well-equipped rooms some with park views; refreshing seasonal outdoor pool and an onsite fitness centre.

City View Room: Single/double/twin | $280 per room per night

City View Room with daily breakfast: Single | $308 per room per night

City View Room with two daily breakfast: Double/twin | $336 per room per night  

Parking: $32 overnight secure parking, per night per vehicle (subject to availability)

The Sebel Canberra Civic

Located in the heart of Canberra CBD, The Sebel Canberra Civic is the perfect base for delegates with just an 8-minute walk to the National Convention Centre. All rooms provide a kitchenette, Nespresso coffee pot machine and complimentary WiFi. The hotel offers an independent restaurant and café and is a short walk to Canberra's largest selection of shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, malls and nightlife.

King Executive Room: Single/double | $252 per room per night  

King Executive Room with daily breakfast: Single | $277 per room per night

King Executive Room with two daily breakfast: Double | $302 per room per night

  Parking: Hotel guests can utilise discounted parking just nearby the hotel, an independent restaurant and cafe onsite

  Bookings: Credit card details are required on booking to guarantee the room, full payment to be made on check-in

Cancellations: 30 – 14 days are subject to a one night’s room value; cancellation within 14 days prior to arrival will incur 100% of total accommodation

On check-in: All guests are required to provide a holding fee deposit if paying their own incidentals

QT Canberra

QT Canberra is situated in the New Action district of Canberra Central and a 15-minute walk to the city centre and National Convention Centre. Designer chic surroundings meet an elegant portfolio of details to delight every guest as they enter the hotel. The QT offers an onsite restaurant with nightlife experiences.  Please note: /ACT Government is building a light rail to make Canberra more connected. There are extensive road closers near the hotel and works happening directly in front of the hotel. Construction noise within the hotel and guest rooms is very minimal and only affects rooms overlooking the site.

QT King Room with daily breakfast: Single | $273 per room per night

Parking: Underground parking is available at the hotel of $30 per vehicle per day. Parking is limited and subject to availability

Quest Canberra City Walk Apartments

Quest Canberra City Walk gives you immediate access to the very best of Australia's capital. Nestled right on the CBD's City Walk boulevard and a short 7-minute walk to the National Convention Centre. Quest Canberra City Walk has 84 spacious serviced apartments, with dedicated kitchenettes through to full-sized kitchens. With an onsite 24-hour fitness centre 2 coffee shops/cafes, WiFi in public ares is free and includes self-parking. Great for delegates who wish a little more space and kitchen facilities.

Studio Apartment (1-2 people): Single/double/twin | $280 per room per night  
One-bedroom Apartment (1-2 people): Single/double/twin | $330 per room per night

Parking: Limited onsite parking charges apply
